Ten of Swords

“The times they are a-changing. “ Thank you Bob. Something is coming to an end. This could be a relationship, a job, or a cycle or chapter in your life. And while you are probably feeling the loss, or sorrow or even a betrayal, please know that the sun is rising in this card, not setting. Those swords are in acupuncture points and his hand is in the yoga mudra for new hope. This is about release, closure and maybe even relief as much as about possible failure and loss. Sweeping changes could occur on a personal or larger level.

Eight of Cups

The eights are always about progress of some sort. In this case, it involves moving forward by going within, withdrawing and healing. You might have lost heart from what attracted you before. This can even involve a trip or vacation to get away from it all. But ultimately, this is about moving on and taking care of yourself. It is about healing and regenerating your energy, your heart and your life force.

Strength

And how do we deal with two cards like the ten of swords and the eight of cups? We find our inner strength and our power within. The strength card tells us that the situations, issues and problems from the ten of swords and eight of cups have a deep spiritual component and if we view and experience them from that frame of reference it will help us to not just get through, but to develop and grow. We can then face these problems with fortitude, perseverance and strength of character. It also relates to our bonds and connections with people and animals, the ones we already have and the ones we could establish. We need to reach out. Or perhaps, someone will be reaching out to you looking for help and understanding. This relates also to finding and keeping our balance between our emotions and our intellect and will. Come from your inner power and spiritual strength as the basis for any outward actions.

Love & Blessings,

Lynne
